Michelle Wolfenden
Music has always been an essential part of Michelle Wolfenden’s life. From piano to flute and from theory to composition, she has been passionate about music for as long as she can remember. Growing up rurally, she had access to far fewer resources than many emerging musicians, but she didn’t let that slow her down. After graduating top of her class from Golden Secondary School, Michelle went on to be accepted to the University of Victoria in both 2020 and 2024, receiving her Bachelor of Music in Composition and Theory with distinction in June 2024 and beginning a Master of Music in Composition program in September of that year. Michelle is a determined person who has dedicated her life to music, and she hopes to leave a legacy of innovative, meaningful works behind her.
